Directions

Directions.
By Bus/Train. From Fiumicino airport take the train to Termini then the train from Termini to Campoleone, from Termini it takes 20 to 25 minutes, and we will meet you at the station. From Rome Ciampino airport take the local bus to Ciampino station then a 20 minute train journey to Lanuvio from where we will collect you. For parties up to 4 people we can also offer an airport collection service .

By Car. I have given directions from Rome Ciampino Airport, should you be travelling from Fiumicino airport or a different direction please email me and I will send you directions. Although we are a Lanuvio postal address we are closer to the village of Campoleone. Campoleone does not appear on many maps but it is about 5Km to the south west of Lanuvio and 5 Km north of Aprilia where the railway line crosses the SS207.

On exiting Ciampino airport turn left in the direction of Albano/Anzio onto the Via Appia. After approx 5 km take a right fork at the traffic lights (second set after leaving airport) in the direction of Anzio onto the Via Netunense. Follow this road for approx. 15 km and you reach the traffic lights as you enter the village of Campoleone. Take the left fork in the direction of Cisterna, after approx 1km take the a left turn just past the Pizzeria and opposite a sign for VINO. After approx. 800m take the second right into Via Degli Olmi (the sign is hidden behind an olive tree so you will not see it until you are at the road), we are the first house 200m along on the right.

Car Hire

For care hire we found that www.travelsupermarket.com can find you really good deals. Most car hire companies have an insurance excesses in case of an accident, in Italy this can be quite high, in excess of EU 1000. It is worth checking even if the company you use say there are no extras as it is not until you arrive at the airport and the company says there is an excess but you can take out extra insurance to cover this and it can be around 20 Euro per day, some charge less and some more. However if you visit www.insurance4carhire.com then for £50 per year you can insure against the excess and of course it lasts a year. Be sure not to take it out until the day before travel as it will then give you the longest period of coverage.

Whatever you do try and avoid Hertz at peak times as the queues can sometimes be very long. A tip is to leave somebody in your party to collect the luggage and the driver to go through and collect the car.
